Privacy policy
This policy describes what data EasyJP uses for accounts, learning progress, and billing.

1. Data we collect
We collect account identifiers, email address, display name, locale, theme preference, preferred voice, reading history, reader progress, and vocabulary states when you use account features.
We also collect technical data such as cookies, device/browser information, request logs, and error or performance diagnostics needed to run and improve the service.
2. Login and payments
Login is provided through Clerk. Clerk may process authentication data according to its own terms and privacy notices.
Paddle processes payment details, billing address, tax information, invoices, and fraud prevention signals. EasyJP should not receive full card numbers.
3. How we use data
We use data to provide the reader, sync progress, save vocabulary state, personalize language and voice settings, support subscriptions, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and understand product performance.
We do not sell personal data. We share data with service providers only when needed to operate authentication, hosting, analytics, support, or payment processing.
4. Retention and choices
We keep account and learning data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
You can request access, correction, deletion, or other privacy help by contacting us. Some records may be retained where required by law or legitimate operational needs.
